Helicopter Services - Mountain Course

BC Forestry Approved Mountain Flying Course

TRK Helicopters is based at Langley Airport, one of the closest airports to the mountains in the Lower Mainland. This translates in to spending more time flying in the mountains and less time flying to them. TRK Helicopters mountain helicopter curriculum is based on real world experience and situations. With such a diverse range of mountains nearby students will gain experience flying from 2500 to 8500 foot peaks on a regular basis. With TRK's Mountain Course we ensure you gain the skills necessary to safely operate in all kinds of mountain conditions.

Whether you are looking to add extra skills to your resume or to become a more proficient helicopter pilot; taking our 'slinging and long line course' will give you the skills necessary to become first choice for employment within the commercial helicopter industry.

As the need for helicopter companies who deliver equipment and supplies to remote locations across Canada increases, helicopter pilots with long line and slinging skills become more of a precious commodity. TRK Helicopters is dedicated to provide all the necessary training which will allow you to safely and effectively use this skill to its fullest potential.

Water bucketing for forest fires using the Bambi Bucket is also included, adding to your arsenal of expertise and experience.
